Pilates-Palm-Springs-icon-50

Our Teachers are experienced and exceptional.  What that means:

• We have a good eye to identify, assess and address structural issues, and the skill to articulate what we see in a way that makes sense.
• We are able to work with any body: athletic, frail, handicapped, shy or outgoing, young or old.
• We are positive and encouraging. We know that no matter where you begin, we will move you forward.

Susan Salk

Director and Teacher

Owner/Teacher studied movement from a young age. Never planning to dance professionally, Susan entered college as a pre-med student. She changed course, and holds a degree in Choreography and Performance from UCLA. She danced with two modern dance companies, taught movement in the LA Probation School System and was a grant writer and fundraiser for the Arts in LA. She studied Pilates, but it wasn’t until she met Master Teacher Ron Fletcher that she fell in love with the work. She teaches what she calls, “postural vitality”; creating live weight vs.dead weight. Susan has studied Pilates for 38 years; teaching for 30. Her teaching is committed to Pilates Method of corrective exercise, deeply infused with Ron Fletcher’s joy of movement and breath.

I am blessed to have these fine teachers working with me:

Paul then moved to NYC and was blessed and privileged to be a working actor/dancer/singer.
